The Alert Your request to access the IKD file cannot be sent error message is caused by a file owner protecting a file in one environment and you try to open the file in a different environment and requesting access to the file.

To get access to the file you will need to open the file in the environment where the file was protected, by switching to the profile associated with the environment. For more information on switching profiles, see Change to another profile.

If you only have one profile, you will need to reach out to the file owner to get access to this file. The file owner could have protected the file in an environment that you don’t have access to.
