Should I allow Offline Access?

While Offline Access provides convenience for Keyavi users to access sensitive files while not connected to the internet (such as while on an airplane), allowing this functionality does come with inherent risks as well. When a Keyavi policy is updated, the file is updated with the policy changes only when there is an internet connection. Keyavi recommends enabling offline access for only trained personnel with a legitimate and critical need for data access in disconnected environments. We also recommend limiting the Offline Access window to these known time periods and assessing the risk of each Offline Access request, while following your organization’s risk management process.
